Hi, and welcome to my blog. Follow along with my while I go on a journey in search of better health and wellness. It all started a few years ago, when I read a book on how toxic everyday items can be. Items such as makeup, skincare products, cleaning products, and even preservatives in foods. After reading a book called “The Food Babe Way” by Vani Hari, I was hooked and decided I needed to learn everything I could. It was at this point that I decided I wanted to start working towards creating a toxic-free lifestyle.
When I first started switching towards a toxic-free lifestyle, I was doing everything I could; reading every label, looking at every ingredient. Somehow over the years, I reverted back to my old ways and began to buy the toxic name brand cleaners, beauty products and foods that I had once banned in my house. I basically bought things out of convenience and didn’t care anymore what was good for my body.
Fast forward to 2 years ago and when I got diagnosed with GERD. I had to eat a very bland diet, lost my love of food and cooking, and was miserable. On top of that, my anxiety is off the charts. I decided that I need to do something! Come along with me while I try out new methods, foods, and alternative healing techniques to find a cure.
